SEM Organizes Orientation for 2012 Spring Undergraduate Exchange Student

On the afternoon of 17 February 2012, the Overseas Department of the Student Union of Tsinghua SEM organized a fun-filled orientation at Room 409, Weilun Building for the 49 incoming undergraduate exchange students and their local buddies.
The orientation was kick-started by a nerve-wrecking modules-choosing session, followed by an introduction to the exciting activities prepared by the Sports and Arts Departments of the Student Union. In this session, members of the student union exhorted for the active participation of incoming exchange students of undergraduate program.
During the party segment, the 49 incoming exchange students, together with their buddies, divided themselves into 4 groups to engage in different performances for one another. While the performers were engrossed in their small showcase, the rest of the audience savored on the enthusiastic performance and the traditional Beijing snacks and drinks prepared by the student union. The orientation ended with a bang with a photo-taking session that captured interesting poses by both the incoming exchange students and their local buddies.
The orientation had created an ice-breaking session that all parties involved, creating a tight-knitted and inclusive SEM family that we are always known for.
